Bill Crowley (Master of Ceremony and Rakugo)

A graduate of Stanford with a degree in Political Science, Bill Crowley lived in Japan for 7 years, during which time he was introduced to Rakugo, the traditional art of Japanese comic storytelling by the late Rakugo Master Katsura Shijaku.
Bill became the first non-Japanese professional Rakugo performer and had a successful career in both Rakugo and as a performer and host of national shows on Japanese Television. He is currently a SAG actor working in TV and film as well as a cultural consultant to multinational corporations.
